Difficulty Evaluation of Navigation Scenarios for the Development of Ship Remote Operators Training Simulator

The enhancement of navigators’ ability has been promoted by on-scene training; however, considering the safety and repeatability, simulation training (ST) is recommended. Notably, maritime autonomous surface ship (MASS) remote operators to be performed in a systemic simulated environment. In various fields, ST differentiated levels scenarios proper effect evaluation. Although accuracy implementation realistic situation have received most attention navigation, objective criteria difficulty are established for training. For this purpose, study aims propose navigation generation development simulator MASS operators. Proposed methods generated with difficulties, experiments were performed, results analyzed as validation difficulties. Our findings include differentiation method, scenario samples, experimental results.
